| Double Celebration for students at Newry High School - January 2012 | Art |
|
The ‘true colours’ exhibition, is a unique and exciting display showcasing the outstanding artwork being produced in Northern Ireland’s schools and colleges. The standard of work is testament to the outstanding creative talent of the young people in Northern Ireland. Two students from Newry High School have had their work selected for this exhibition, Katherine Holmes (GCSE) and Terri-Anne Ogle (A2). Both students, their family and their art teachers will be very proud to see their work displayed. This exhibition has become one of the highlights of the education calendar, attracting over 8000 visitors each year. To make it even more exciting this year the venue is The Ulster Museum. The visiting students gain valuable insights and inspirations from the creativity and imagination of other young people and recognise what it takes to achieve top grades in GCSE and GCE Art and Design. We would like to congratulate both students and hope they continue to accomplish great things in their art studies next year.
