Newry High School

This year saw a new format for sports day, in addition to athletics we introduced a football tournament and the school were out for the whole day. The pupils participated superbly and the staff where quite well behaved too! It was a great day made better by the weather and the great attitude of all the pupils taking part. There were several school records broken and a new tug of war team discovered that could rival the best in the world….. yes that’s right…the staff team! What an outstanding show of physical prowess and fitness!

The Best Overall shields went to [best overall boy] (boys) and [best overall girl] (girl) .
