Newry High is once again taking part in Sainsbury’s Active Kids, and we hope to collect as many vouchers as possible to get some fantastic new equipment for our Home Economics Department, PE Department and the Eco-Club. This year we would love to get some exciting new additions so we need a big team effort, and that includes you!

If you have any vouchers, please give them to your form teacher or  put them in the box at reception.

You can also nominate us to win our Wish List (up to the value of 15,000 Active Kids vouchers) by logging online.
Go to the Active Kids website, go to Get Involved and select Find an Organisation.
Type in our postcode - BT34 1QN and click Find. A link to our page will appear and all you need to do is click Nominate and follow the instructions.

Message from the Principal

Welcome to our school website. We hope you enjoy visiting this website and learning more about the school.

Having been Vice-Principal since 2006, it is a privilege to announce that I have been recently appointed as the new Principal of Newry High School. I am delighted to have been appointed and will continue to work to promote the achievement and success of our students, staff and local community.

I am dedicated to developing happy and successful students. I want Newry High School students to be excited and engaged by all that we have to offer. I know that good learners continue to achieve and feel fulfilled throughout their lives. The school has made significant improvements over the last year and has tremendous potential; I am thrilled to be able to lead the school into its next phase of development.

If you are a parent of a current or prospective pupil and you have any questions / concerns or would like any further information please feel free to contact us.
